FEAP 1E
USES DIAGNOSTIC STUDENT DATA TO PLAN LESSONS
HOW DID I DEMONSTRATE THIS FEAP?
For FEAP 1E, I used diagnostic data from i-ready, FAST, and field notes from behavioral observations to create small groups for mathematics instruction. With this data and literature research, I was able to complete my inquiry project on small group instruction in mathematics. I used the data to group students and then differentiate the content and process to decrease learning gaps.
EVIDENCE
Below, is a chart comparing the i-Ready and FAST scores for PM2 for math. I used this data, in accompany with my student observations, to flexible group the students.

This last image shows how I made several options to flexibly group my students. Through my inquiry, I learned that small-group instruction is based off of way more than scores and is only successful when the behavior and developmental needs are considered.
