Employ questioning that promotes critical thinking;
One way that I have demonstrated FEAP 3f is throughout mathematics instruction in a first-grade classroom. I use higher order thinking questions to get students to explain their solving process, thought process, or to view concepts from different perspectives. Using questioning to promote critical thinking promotes conceptual understanding in mathematics instruction because it deepens the connections between different concepts and skills.
