Modifies assessments and testing conditions to accommodate learning styles and varying levels of knowledge

I modified assessments in my final internship with advanced first-graders. Although all students were at grade-level, we had signifcant learning gaps. During math instruction, I would use assessment data to pull a small-group while other students worked on their exit ticket or independent work. I would provide a differentiated assessment for students that were struggling by providing manipulatives, such as tens blocks, or additional scaffolding.
