I demonstrated FEAP 4c during my final internship inquiry. I implemented action research to find efficient instructional strategies for small-group phonics instruction with first-graders. I focused specifically on encoding, and collected data from small-group and weekly UFLI quizzes to monitor student learning gains. I used this data to shift my instruction and to identify the impact of my research.
